Jones Family Farms

As a supervisor, I led a crew of interns, oversaw retail operations and customer and staff safety in the field, and ensured customer satisfaction by managing conflict. I worked with a diverse group of people including farm owners, managers, other supervisors, and interns to create an efficient, safe, and enjoyable farm experience.

Farmer's Markets, held at Jones Family Farms itself, were a great way to connect local food producers together, and connect local food producers to the local consumers.

I helped set up and coordinate our farmers markets by getting vendors settled and in the right location, gathering supplies, running our own farm stand, and greeting and interacting with customers and community members.

Jones Family Farms focuses on five major agricultural products:

Strawberries
Blueberries
Pumpkins
Christmas trees
Wines

I had the pleasure of getting to know all five products intimately during my time at Jones Family Farms, and carry that knowledge with me now.
